kappi vs MyVeridex: Which Record Does a Prop Firm Trust?

MyVeridex reads your broker account through an investor password and publishes verified performance at one URL. kappi records the trade you commit to before the fact exists. Both produce a link you can send a prop firm; they prove different things.

What does MyVeridex do well?

It solves a real problem quickly. You hand it a read-only investor password, and it turns your broker account into a verified profile at a single URL, with the metrics prop firms grade on. Their Starter plan is €14 a month billed monthly, with Pro at €39 and Business at €99, cheaper annually.[1]

If what you need is "prove these results actually happened in a real account", that is a clean, cheap answer, and it is the closest positioning to kappi of any product surveyed.

What does an investor password not prove?

That you knew which trades to show. An investor password proves the equity curve is real. It does not establish which of your accounts you connected, when you connected it, or what you were saying publicly before those trades resolved.

Broker-import journals prove what you did after the fact, from data you control. kappi timestamps what you said you would do, before you knew how it would turn out, on a record you cannot edit.

This is the gap the whole category has. A verified account is evidence that trading happened. It is not evidence of foresight, because every number in it was produced before anyone chose to publish it, and the choosing is the part that carries information.

Which brokers does MyVeridex connect to?

MetaTrader ones. The connection is an MT4 or MT5 investor password, with cTrader and DXtrade also supported, and their broker directory is 498 MetaTrader forex and CFD brokers and prop firms.[2] If you trade forex at OANDA, FOREX.com or IG, you are covered.

If you trade US stocks or options, you are not. Robinhood, Webull, TradeStation, Tradier, Schwab, tastytrade, Fidelity and E*TRADE are all absent from that directory, because none of them run MetaTrader. Interactive Brokers and IBKR do appear as names in the listing, but no MetaTrader server is published under either, so in practice there is nothing to connect.[2]

Nothing about that is a flaw — MyVeridex is a forex and prop-firm product and its broker coverage is exactly right for that audience. It does mean the two products barely overlap on instruments. kappi asks for no credential and links to no account, so the broker question does not arise: kappi is broker-agnostic. Commits are made from the Chrome extension, so any brokerage works — or your own journal, kept wherever you already keep it. No import, no account linking, no requirement to trade inside someone else's platform.

What stops someone running ten accounts?

Nothing does, here or anywhere else — including at kappi, where a second sign-up costs a second subscription and nothing more. Account limits are not enforceable and no honest comparison should pretend otherwise. What differs is when the identity is fixed. A MyVeridex profile starts when an account is connected, and the trades in it already happened, so the choice of which account to connect is made with the results already in view.

A kappi handle can be handed to someone before the trades exist: it is public, it can be the handle the trader is already known by, and every commit made after that moment lands on it. There is no per-trade hide — the switch is the whole profile — so a record named in advance cannot quietly be swapped for a luckier one started later.

That is the whole survivorship answer: give someone the handle first, and the ten-accounts question stops being about trust. Nobody has to believe the record they were shown is the only one — they watched this one from before it had any results to select.

Can I use MyVeridex from the United States?

Yes, in the sense that nothing stops you signing up — MyVeridex is a Portuguese software company billing through Stripe, and its terms name no restricted jurisdiction.[3] Whether it is useful to you is a different question, and it comes down to what you trade. A US trader running a MetaTrader forex account, or a prop-firm challenge, connects normally. A US trader whose account is stocks and options at a US brokerage has nothing MyVeridex can read.

Is the price actually different?

Barely, and be careful comparing them: MyVeridex Starter is €14 a month and kappi is $15 a month, which are close but denominated in different currencies. Neither is expensive. Price is not the reason to pick between these two — what the record asserts is.

Where does the record live?

A record held inside a platform belongs to that platform: it is shown on their terms, and it does not travel if the account closes or the company does. kappi anchors the Merkle root publicly, so the proof outlives kappi — anyone can verify the log without kappi's cooperation, and the record stays yours.

Every sealed commit is hashed into a Merkle tree and anchored to Hedera, so the log is append-only and independently checkable.

When should you pick MyVeridex?

When you trade a single live account with a broker that issues investor passwords, and the thing being asked of you is "show me your real results". That is most prop-firm applications, and MyVeridex is built precisely for that request. If you want it done in a minute, it will be.

Pick it also if you do not want to change anything about how you trade. kappi requires you to commit a trade at the time you take it; MyVeridex reads history you already have.

When should you pick kappi?

When you are being evaluated on judgement rather than on results — a trading partner, or a prop firm that has learned to distrust a clean equity curve. kappi is also the answer when your trading is spread across brokers, or when there is no broker account at all. kappi is broker-agnostic. Commits are made from the Chrome extension, so any brokerage works — or your own journal, kept wherever you already keep it. No import, no account linking, no requirement to trade inside someone else's platform.

Frequently asked questions

How much does MyVeridex cost?

Starter is €14 per month billed monthly, Pro €39 and Business €99, each cheaper on annual billing. Prices are in euros and were read from their site in August 2026.

Does an investor password prove my track record?

It proves the results in that account are real. It does not prove you committed to the trades before the fact, because the data is read from history after the fact.

Can I use both?

Yes, and for some traders that is the strongest answer: a verified live account for results, and a timestamped commit log for judgement. They are evidence of different things.

Does kappi need my broker login?

No. kappi never asks for broker credentials, investor passwords or API keys. Commits come from the Chrome extension.
